Meet Dr. Bobbie Kenna
Dr. Bobbie Kenna brings a wealth of experience and a passion for pet care to Easthampton Animal Hospital. A proud graduate of Mississippi State University, she began her journey with an oncology internship before moving to Massachusetts, where she worked with several local general practices. In 2011, she became a full-time associate at VCA Montgomery Rd Animal Hospital and even served as medical director during her time there. Dr. Kenna was thrilled to join Easthampton Animal Hospital in November 2018, where she continues to provide compassionate care to her patients.
Dr. Kenna’s professional interests include internal medicine, dentistry, and preventative care. She especially enjoys educating pet parents, ensuring they feel confident and informed about their furry family members’ health.
Outside of work, Dr. Kenna lives in Westhampton, Massachusetts, with her daughter and their lively household of pets. Their family includes Pretty Perrin Naughty Pant, a lovable Cavalier mix; Rosalie Kisses, an adorable poodle mix; Sassy Colleen Mi-up Mi-ups, their sweet and sassy cat; and Fred, their entertaining angelfish.
Dr. Losert has an athletic past as a college athlete and also played the organ throughout her childhood—a mix of energy and creativity that she still brings to her work today!
Meet Dr. Kirstin Losert
Dr. Kirstin Losert brings a blend of expertise, compassion, and dedication to Easthampton Animal Hospital. A graduate of Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Losert has over 12 years of experience in emergency medicine and was a founding partner of a veterinary and emergency referral hospital. In 2011, she transitioned back to general practice and joined VCA Southwick Animal Hospital in 2012. By 2016, she was leading the team as Medical Director. In October 2018, she proudly became the owner of Easthampton Animal Hospital.
Dr. Losert has a special interest in soft tissue surgery, emergency medicine, and client education. She loves helping pet owners feel confident and informed about their pets’ care.
Dr. Losert lives in Florence, Massachusetts, with her spouse, who is a local cardiologist. Their home is full of love and wagging tails, with two rescued dogs—Ernie, a diabetic Labrador, and Lulu Lemon Drop, a sweet Yorkie—and two charismatic cats, Miss Pickles and Sir Wellington. Outside the clinic, she enjoys gardening alongside her two free-range hens, Chai and Coco, who always keep her company.
Outside of work, Dr. McCollum enjoys an active and balanced life. You might find her disc golfing, practicing yoga, or relaxing with her partner and their four beloved pets: two dogs, Huckleberry and Maple, and two cats, Cheetoh and Boots.
Meet Dr. Leann McCollum
Dr. McCollum is a proud native New Englander who grew up in the charming town of Wilbraham, Massachusetts. She earned her BS in Animal Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and then ventured to the West Coast to pursue her veterinary degree at the University of California Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, graduating with honors in 2018. During her time at UC Davis, Dr. McCollum was deeply involved in her community, running the Mercer Veterinary Clinic for the homeless and participating in several Sacramento shelter projects. She also earned her Fear Free Certification, focusing on compassionate care for pets.
After graduation, Dr. McCollum returned home to Western Massachusetts, where she practiced emergency medicine at the Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital in South Deerfield, MA, followed by primary care medicine in Brattleboro, VT. She’s now thrilled to be joining the Easthampton Animal Hospital team and looks forward to building relationships with pets and their families. Her professional interests include surgery, nutrition, and neurology.
Her dedication to animals extends beyond the clinic. Dr. Reidy has volunteered with the New England Aquarium’s rescue and rehabilitation program and worked with the St. Kitts Sea Turtle Association, helping to protect and care for wildlife.
Meet Dr. Denise Reidy
Dr. Reidy has been dedicated to caring for animals for over 17 years and brings a wealth of experience and compassion to her work. A Massachusetts native, she earned her veterinary degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, completing her clinical rotations at Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. Before veterinary school, Dr. Reidy worked as a veterinary emergency and critical care technician, which deepened her passion for animal health and medicine.
Dr. Reidy’s special interests include soft tissue and dental surgery, endocrinology, and preventative care. She is committed to building strong, trusting relationships with her clients and helping pets live happy, healthy lives.
